Winnifred Senette Winstanley

WINSTANLEY, Winnifred (Winn) - Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Westpark Health Centre on Monday, January 16, 2017. Winnifred (Thoms) of St. Catharines in her 101st year. Wife of the late David Winstanley (1981). Loving mother of Roy Winstanley (Pat), Betty (the late Arnold Burke), the late David Winstanley (2000) and predeceased by her daughter-in-law Geraldine (1999). Nan will be lovingly remembered by her twelve grandchildren, many great grandchildren, many great-great grandchildren and predeceased by her great grandson Jacob Burke. Dear sister of Jim Thoms (Mary) of Thorold, Guy Thoms (Gladys) of Newfoundland and the late Frank, Wil, Fred, Georgina, Sybil and Phyllis. Winn will also be missed by her dear friend Wendell Billard. Winnifred was an active member of the Seniors of West St. Catharines, the Seniors of Dunlop Drive, Grace Lutheran Church and St. James Anglican Church. A sincere thank you to the staff at Westpark for the care and compassion shown to Winn over the past ten years.
Friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Thursday. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, January, 19, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. followed by cremation.
