Violet May Connelly

CONNELLY, Violet May ~ peacefully and courageously, at Meadows of Dorchester, Niagara Falls on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of 65 years to Ivan Connelly. Loving mother of David (Jan), Doug (Velma) and Dayle (Nancy). Grandma and Bubba will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Naomi (Chris), Kyle (Jen) and Dayna and by her great grandsons Anderson, Nathaniel, and Daniel. Dear sister of Howard (Elsie) and June (the late Vern). Predeceased by brothers Wes (the late Wynne) and Lawrence. Violet was a teacher for the public school board and belonged to the Retired Teachers Federation, a past president of the North Bay Lioness and was a avid curler. She was a member and very active in the Emmanuel United Church in North Bay and was also active in the U.C.W. A special thank you to the staff at Meadows of Dorchester for all their loving care and compassion shown to Violet.
