SURACI, VINCENZO “VINCE” – Peacefully, after a short illness, at Niagara Health – Niagara Falls Hospital on Friday, June 5, 2026, in his 80th year. Beloved Zio of Natale “Nat” Calabrese, Anita (Mario) Azzarello, and Mimi Klim. Cherished great-uncle to Alica (Steve) Auld, Anthony (Kadie) Azzarello, Andrew Klim, and Julia Klim, and proud great-great-uncle to Lily. Vince was predeceased by his loving parents, Antonio and Domenica, and by his siblings, Margherita (Francesco) Calabrese, Roberto Suraci, Rocco Suraci, Antonio Suraci, and Costanza Suraci. Vince came to Canada in 1961 at the age of 15 and became a cherished part of the Calabrese family for the rest of his life. He worked at Sorrento Bakery and was a devoted member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. From the time we were toddlers, Vince was a constant and deeply loved presence in our lives. He had a heart of gold, and his warm smile and contagious laughter could light up any room. He will always be remembered for his beautiful voice, his love of singing at every festival, the music he wrote, and the joy he found in playing his accordion and Karaoke any chance he got. Vince also expressed his love through cooking and never missed a chance to prepare a meal for others. He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him. Visitors will be received on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will be Celebrated in the Lamb Chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, June 10 at 11:00 AM.
