IAMONACO, Vincenzo - On Saturday, July 28, 2018, passing suddenly and with great sadness was Vince Iamonaco, 85, of Thorold (Limosano, Italy). Beloved husband of the late Filomena (Pizzacalla). Proud father and best friend of Teresa (Kurt) Lundy and Donna (Charlie) Elwell. Proud Nonno and best friend to grandchildren Vanessa, Cruz, Ethan, and Tessa. Brother of Nicola (Clara) Iamonaco. He will be missed by many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Vincenzo was a member of Club Italia and a well-loved retired caretaker at Holy Rosary School. He lived a life of dignity and respect and was very loved by all who knew him. Friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2018 and 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2018, with Vigil Prayers recited at 8:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 21 Queen Street South, Thorold, on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., followed by the Rite of Committal at Lakeview Cemetery.
