Vera Anne Berti

Berti, Vera Anne (Kozub) ~ peacefully and with great dignity, on January 11, 2009 Vera passed ever so gently into the arms of her Saviour. Vera was predeceased by her loving husband Mario (August 2006). This wonderful, kind and gentle soul was the much loved mother of daughters, Lisa (the late Tom) Docherty, Nancy (the late Bill) Stewart and son Patrick (Jayne). Loving Baba to Billy (Anita), Kevin (Megan), Sean and Cameron and great grandmother to Tiana, Talia and Mason. Vera will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and many friends. Vera was a proud member of The United Church of Thorold South. Vera was an extremely warm and giving person. She was a champion bowler and bingo player. Vera loved to laugh and loved being around people. Her baking talents were highlighted by her almost-world-famous chocolate cake. Vera had many passions, including tending to her award winning rose bushes, the Toronto Blue Jays, Elvis Presley, playing the Pony's and any card game ever invented. Our Mom had a special way about her that touched the lives of anyone with whom she came in contact with. Vera devoted her life to her children and family. She was the greatest Mom in the world. We will miss her so much!! Till we meet again Mom, we love you now and always.
