Valarie Locke

LOCKE, Valarie ~ suddenly, at her home on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the age of 68. Beloved wife of 39 years to Robert Locke. Loving mother of Gord (Tammy) MacFarlane, Kimberly (Greg) Cosgrove and step mother of David Hewitt. Grandma will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kayla, Brandon, Ashley and Adam. Dear sister of Betty (the late John) Merritt, Allan (Maryann) Turner, Eric (Helen) Turner, Bobby (Justine) Turner, Tracey (Doug) Maddox and Patricia (John) Libera and sister-in-law of Tom (Dawn) Locke. Predeceased by parents Sidney and Dorothy Turner, sister Joan (the late Ron) Cotnam, brother Greg survived by his wife Margaret Turner, sister-in-law Irene survived by her husband Tom Partridge. Val will also be missed by her best friends Pam and Paul Kozloski and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was an active and devoted member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #138, Merritton and worked as a school bus driver for the Lincoln County School Board retiring in 2003 after 31 years of service then becoming a custodian for the Burleigh Hill School and a caretaker at Lady Churchill School.
