BUSSI, TONY - It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our dearly loved Tony Bussi on Saturday August 26, 2023 at the age of 56. Tony leaves behind his loving wife Gayle (née Neelin) of 31 years; their dearly loved children Olivia (Kyle), Evan and his beloved dog Cooper. He leaves behind his mother, Maria (predeceased by his father Giovanni in 2013), his brother Nick (Sandy) and nieces Jessica (Andrew), Natalie (Connor).   Remembered by mother-in-law Audrey Neelin (predeceased by father-in-law James  in 2008) and brothers-in-law Barry Neelin, Chris Neelin and Paul Neelin (Diane).  Tony also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be missed by his lifelong friends, neighbours and many acquaintances along the way. Tony worked within the Niagara Region and made many great friends. Each and every one of you meant the world to him.

Tony has been a lifelong resident of Thorold, Ontario. He loved sports of all kinds, but his passion was hockey and his Montreal Canadians. He loved making his ice rinks at home for all the kids to enjoy. Tony loved his daily phone calls with his brother Nick about food, sports and just about anything. Tony also enjoyed a fine glass of red wine with his great friends Heather and Tony. He had a great sense of humour and made us all laugh everyday, but nothing was more important to him than his love and devotion to his family. He is going to be missed beyond measure.

Our family is deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our friends and family at this time. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Bocchinfuso Funeral Home 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Wednesday August 30, 2023 from 11:00 am-3:00 p.m. Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke or the Humane Society of Greater Niagara.
