Silvio Domanico

Domanico, Silvio ~ July 12, 1930 - July 11, 2009 Surrounded by his loving family, at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of 52 years to Marietta (Perri) Domanico. Loving father of Carmine (Cathy) Domanico, Silvana (Robert) Weiss, Jo-anne (Peter) Cecchetti and Angelo Domanico. Nonno will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Alessia, Christian, Bradley, Gregory, Andrea, Daniel, Emily and Lucas. Dear brother of Marietta (the late Pasquale) Picola, Luigi (Elena) Domanico and Michele (Raffaela) Domanico. Predeceased by brother Alfredo and his wife Francescina Domanico and sister Genoeffa and her husband Genio Carpino. Brother-in-law of the late Francesco survived by his wife Pierina Perri, Giuseppina (the late Michele) Domanico, Gaetano (Lena) Perri, Ida (the late Giovanni) Bruno, Assunta (the late Annibale) Chiesa, Eva (the late Francesco) DiMaria, Giuseppe (Rina) Perri and Edda (the late Larry) Dalle Sasse. Silvio worked for the Exolon Company of Canada for 23 years retiring in 1989. Silvio was a wonderful Nonno, enjoying watching his grandchildren growing up. In retirement, Silvio's garden became his passion, especially tending to his fig trees. He also loved his cats and birds. Silvio was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Thorold.
