BORRELLI SILVIO - Peacefully on Friday September 4, 2026, at his home Silvio passed away in his 86th year. Dearest husband to the late Lucia (2022). Loving father to Domenic (Diane Kubik), Angela (Richard) Davidson and Michael. Loving Nonno to Amanda (Patrick), Cassandra, Chris, Victoria, David, Micaela (Salah) and Matteo. Dear Loved great Nonno to Milana, Sami and Mara. He was predeceased by his brother Mario and his sister Rita. Silvio will be sadly missed by his many family and friends Silvio was an avid gardener and could always be found outside with his hands in the dirt, tending to his prize tomatoes and vibrant perennials with the same patience and devotion he gave to his family. After working in the garden, he would always treat himself to a glass of red wine. The family would like to thank Care Givers for their care of their father and a special thanks to RN Jennifer and Glenda and Susan for their care of their father. Family will receive friends at Bocchinfuso funeral home, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, on Wednesday September 9, 2026, from 2:00 -4:00 p.m. and 6:00- 8:00 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be recited at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY PARISH, 21 Queen Street South, Thorold on Thursday September 10, 2026, at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
