SMITH, Shirley E. - It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother Shirley, in her 91st year on January 7, 2021. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Norm (2004) and her sister Patsy. Loving mother of Sharlene (Doug), Lorrie (Ted), and Nancy (Earl). Shirley is survived by her cherished sister Joy. Dearest Nana of Jon (Sarah), Brooke (Jason), Todd (Christina), Jennifer, Stacy (Brendan), Ashley (James), Briar (Jason), Carina (Rob), Spenser, and Mitchell. Special Great-Nana of eight. Our heartfelt appreciation to the caring staff on the third floor of the Heidehof Home where Shirley has been a resident for the last few years. Due to COVID restrictions there will be a family celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Open Medicine Foundation Canada would be appreciated.
