RANDALL, Shirley Ann
June 22, 1938 – July 31, 2025
It is with great sadness that the family of Shirley Ann Randall announces her passing on July 31, 2025, at Niagara Health Marotta Family Hospital at the age of 87.
Shirley will be deeply missed by her beloved husband Fredrick and her large, loving family: Fredrick W. Randall (Antoinette), Emma (Michael), Chelsea (Jordan), Debbie (Glenn), Robert (Angela), Dominic, Kaden, Tammy (Syme), Landon (Karissa), Linkoln, Jocelyn (John), Jessica, Jiavanna, Tracey, Jason (Kelsey), Jameson, Emerson, Lailah, and Krista. She was a devoted sister to Helen (Jean), Betty (Aime), Sheila (Jim), Larry (Marg), and Brian, and a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents John H. McDonald and Elma J. McDonald as well as by her siblings Barbara (Bob), Mary Lou (Boris), Jackie (Don), Ron (Pat), Bill, Dan, Jerry, Bernie, Leo, Patrick, and Don.
Shirley was born on June 22, 1938, and lived a full and vibrant life. She proudly served her country from 1960 to 1962 as a Private with the Royal Mechanical Engineers, working in clerical administration. Following her service, she continued her dedicated work ethic at Country Classics, where she made many lifelong friendships.
A passionate Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays fan, Shirley also enjoyed playing bingo and spending precious time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her so much joy.
A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 138 Merritton 2 Chestnut Street East, St. Catharines from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday August 15, 2025.
Shirley will be remembered for her strength, loyalty, and the love she gave so generously to those around her. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched.
