McGEAN, SHARRON ANNE (Née Drake) – Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on Friday, July 31, 2026 in her 81st year. Daughter of the late Bert and Irene Drake. Dear mother of Lana Carey, Doug (Robin) McGean, Irene (Richard Clenént) McGean, Sherri (Mike Bellchalmber) McGean and John (Lynn) McGean. Loving Nana to twelve grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Survived by her brothers David Drake and Terry Drake, she is predeceased by her siblings Dorothy Drake, Patricia “Tish” Peters, June Currie, Bert “Chick” Drake and Jack Drake. Aunt Sharron will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Sharron enjoyed the simple things in life, but her greatest passions were spending time with family and friends, playing Bingo, and darts. A talented competitor, she was the 1985 Canadian Open Women’s Dart Champion, becoming the first woman ever to win this prestigious title. She treasured life's simple pleasures and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Private family arrangements have been entrusted to Bocchinfuso Funeral Home.
