WEIR, Sharon - In true Hero fashion, according to Sharon's wishes, she ceased all treatment and peacefully slipped away on Friday, June 8, 2018 at the Niagara Health St. Catharines Site. Proud mother of Brian (Shawnna) Weir and Carrie (Gary) Gosselin. Loving Nannie to Calista and Addison Weir; Keegan, Logan, Keirstin and Kayden "Buddha" Gosselin. Best friend to sister Grace (Darryn) Derwinsky and brother Leo (Michelle) Persia. Lovingly remembered by Paul. Sharon will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. Predeceased by parents Leo and Helen Persia and brothers Rick and Phil. Friends will be received at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and for 7:00 -9:00 PM. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 10 AM. A reception will immediately follow the service at Carrie's home.
