Severio Gerald Sacco

SACCO, Severio (Sam) Gerald - Passed away peacefully with his wife and his family by his side at the Niagara Health System - St. Catharines Site on Monday, September 7, 2015. Sam Sacco in his 75th year was born and raised in St. Catharines, former member of the "Old Guard" at TRW. Beloved husband, lover and best friend to Della for 52 years. Dear father of Sam Sacco Jr. (Dina), Deborah Doan (Rob), Donna Sacco (Adrian) and James Sacco (Tina). Loving grandfather of Lauren Delano, Marisa Doan, Christopher Doan, Julia Sacco and Eric Sacco (Sam's favorite walking partner). Brother of Elizabeth Brooks and the late Vincent James, Philip (Mouse) and Carmen Sacco. The Sacco family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Walker Family Cancer Centre and the Oncology Team, especially Dr. Qawi and her R.N. Emily, for all your care and compassion. Private family Vigil Prayers and visitation took place at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold. A memorial service will be held in October and will be announced in the St. Catharines Standard. If desired, memorial donations to the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario, would be appreciated.
