RASO, SAVERIO ~ peacefully after a long battle at the St. Catharines General Hospital on June 8, 2015 at the age 86. Beloved husband of 54 years to Gilda Raso. Loving father of Dominic and Rita Raso. Dear brother of Teresa (the late Genio) Villella, and Natalina (Guiseppe) Vescio. Predeceased by sister Porsia (the late Francesco) Butera and brothers Dominic (the late Teresa), Gennaro and Tony. Saverio will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Saverio's family will receive family and friends at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, on Wednesday 2-4, 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 21 Queen St., S., Thorold, on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. The Rite of Committal Pleasantview Mausoleum, Fonthill. Vigil Prayers for Saverio will be celebrated at the funeral home on Wednesday at 3 p.m. Memorial Donations in memory of Saverio to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
