Saverio 'Sam' Pecchia

PECCHIA, Saverio "Sam" - Passed peacefully, with his family by his side, on Friday, July 14, 2017 at the NHS- St. Catharines Site shortly after his 85th birthday. Sam emigrated from Terelle, Italy and was a long-time resident of Thorold. Beloved husband for 64 years of Felicia (Gazzellone). Dear father of Dolores (Robert) Costantini and Antonio. Nonno to Jennifer (David) Ali and Brian Costantini. Bisnonno to Noah and Keaton Ali. Brother of Antoniella (the late Luigi), Domenico and Nazzarena (Mario) Trelle. Sam will be missed by his extended family, friends and neighbors. Friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, from 2:00 - 4:00PM and 7:00 - 9:00PM on Monday, July 17, 2017 with Vigil Prayers recited at 8:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 21 Queen Street, Thorold on Tuesday, July 18th at 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
