MOONEY, RUTH LEONA (Née Lester) – It is with great sadness we share the news of Ruth's passing on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at her residence in Thorold. She was in her 91st year and took immense pride in looking "Pretty Good" for her age. Predeceased by her husband Lester and her son Bart. Mourning her are her daughter Judy and son-in-law Ken Griffin, her daughter-in-law Crystal and her grandchildren Jeff Griffin, Kelsey (Mike Little) Griffin, Ian (Carrie) Mooney, Jay Mooney and her two cherished great granddaughters June Little and Claire Mooney. Ruth was predeceased by her parents Ellen and Kenneth Lester, and her siblings June (Clayton) Clouthier, Shirley Munro and Billy (Linda) Lester. Following Ruth's wishes, no public service will be held, and she will be laid to rest with her husband and son at Lakeview Cemetery.
