Ross E. Oke

OKE, ROSS E. - Peacefully at home with his family by his side on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the age of 90. Ross is predeceased by his beloved wife Nancy and two of his children Marilyn (surviving spouse Paul) Bannister and Larry (surviving spouse Leslie Carson) but will be lovingly remembered by his surviving children Peter (the late Martha Austin) and Janet (Andy) Petrowski. He was the proud Grandpa of Amanda (Simon), Amber (Jon), Courtney, Melodie (Graham), Sarah (David), Robert (Scott), Andrew (Ashley), Connor, Matthew (Jeanette), Stuart (Nikki), Amy (Julian) and predeceased by his grandson Nathan and Ross was blessed to be Papa 25 great grandchildren. Ross was able to retire at quite a young age from his career, but he never stopped using his skills to selflessly assist anyone who needed a hand. His faith and his family were mainstays in his life, as he maintained a very active, creative and varied life where some of his passions included woodworking and sailing. A celebration of Ross’s life will be held on Saturday, April 9th, 2022 starting at 2:00 PM at Rosedale Baptist Church 11 Rosedale Place, Welland. A reception will follow.
