GUARASCI, Rosina “Rose” – Peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Rose Guarasci of Thorold in her 93rd year. Wife of the late Domenic Guarasci. Dear mother of Raphalena (John Marr), Sam Guarasci and Sandy Guarasci (Maria). Loving nonna to Bianca (Allan), Michael, Sandro, Leah and bisnonna to Zen Guarasci. Sister of Ralph Guarasci (Vanda), Tony Guarasci (Lena), Lena (the late Vasco Andreola), Dominic Parrotta (Lily) and the late Cosmo and Maria Guarasci. Sister-in-law to Anna (the late Enzo Guarasci) and Elena (the late Leo Guarasci). Zia Rose will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Cathy Bergman, who was like a second daughter to Rose, for all her care, compassion, love and support. Rose’s greatest devotion was to her husband, her family and God. She loved to see her family and friends gathering around her table to laugh and enjoy the food she lovingly prepared for them. Her heart was pure and filled with joy and love. She was always there to lend a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on in hard times. She leaves a legacy of love, and she will be remembered for her generosity and kindness. She will be greatly missed. Following all COVID protocols, including the use of face masks, hand sanitizing, and social distancing, friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 26, 2021.
