Saunders, Robert Gordon ~ surrounded by his loving family, holding his wife's hand, peacefully slept away, on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at the age of 74. Beloved husband, soulmate and best friend of 54 years to Beverley Saunders. Precious and loving father of Debbie (John) Boudreau. Papa will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandson, "Papa's Toad" Derek Robert Saunders Boudreau (Laura). Dear brother of Milton (the late Nora) Saunders and sister-in-law Betty (the late Larry) More. Robert will also be missed by several nieces, nephews and good friends. Robert was a dedicated family man, devoted to his wife, daughter and grandson. "He was our hero."
