Robert Davis

Davis, Robert "Bob" - surrounded by his loving family, at the St. Catharines General Hospital, on Saturday, December 4, 2010, at the age of 78. Beloved husband of 56 years to Arlene (McShane) Davis. Loving father of Penny (Alex) Fiuk, Kim Davis, Shane (Janet) Davis and Jill (Grant) Bivand. Grandpa will be sadly missed and loving remembered by his grandchildren Bobbi Lynne (Darren) MacKenzie, Kyle Robert (Brandy) Davis, Brynne Davis, Melanie (Steve) Skeoch, Laura Davis, Bobby Davis, Cassandra Bivand, Noah Bivand and by his great grandchildren Christopher and Ethan MacKenzie, Mikaela Johnson and Kiera Davis. Special grandfather to Dayne. Predeceased by granddaughters Meridy Persia (1973) and Baby Arlene (1974). Dear brother to Jean (the late Bernard) Reynolds, Bill (Marion) Nickalls and Marylou (George) Davey, all of Huntsville. Predeceased by parents Sidney Robert and Hazel Woodbury Davis, stepmother Edith Irene Davis, and brothers-inlaw Bob and Gary (survived by wife Rita) McShane. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Bob was very active in St. John's Anglican Church as a former warden and was a recipient of The Order of Niagara. He was a past coach in baseball and hockey and was very involved in the Special Olympics Bowling, for which he won the outstanding contribution award for this role. Bob was a past president of Thorold Jaycee's and a member of The Maple Leaf Lodge #103. The family would like to thank Dr. N. Hoosen, Dr. Azabi, Dr. Malcolm and Dr. Minkarious and the whole ICU team for the constant care, compassion and support. Our biggest thanks go to our angel Gina and Rev.
