CULVER, Robert Allan (Bob) - Peacefully, after a long illness, at Hotel Dieu Shaver on Friday, January 29, 2016 surrounded by his family. Loved by his best friend and partner, Fran Worden. Proud father of Debbie (Robert Sutor) and David Culver (Teresa) and step-father to Craig Worden (Kim), Cyndy (John Brown) and Bruce Worden (Zeljka). Gramps and Poppa to 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by his brother George and sister Norma (Don Raven) and sister-in-law Hazel (Joe Boggs), Jan (the late Laverne Seburn), Marge (Charlie Russell), Scott Hays (Lynn). Predeceased by his parents William and Clara Culver, his sister Donna Gammack, his brother Doug Culver and his sister-in-law Bev Hays. Bob was a retired General Motors Employee with over 33 years of service. His passions included golf, woodworking, bowling, downhill and water skiing. He was a former Canadian Water Skiing Champion. Bob was a member of the Willodell Golf Course, Niagara Falls and the Slow Poke Car Club in Dunnville and his humour will be missed by his large circle of friends. Friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2016. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. If desired, memorial donations to the Hotel Dieu Shaver or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
