WEIR, ROBERT DENNIS "Bob Jr." – (Employee at BioOrigin Specialty Products for 37 years, Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 138) Peacefully, at Niagara Health Marotta Family Hospital with his beloved wife Nancy (née Vanatte) faithfully at his side, on Saturday, April 5, 2025. Dear Son of Doris (the late Bob Sr.) and son-in-law to Lena (the late Dick) Vanatte. Brother to Sandy, predeceased by Billy. Brother-in-law to Jim (Sue) Vanatte and Rick Vanatte. Bob will be fondly remembered by his niece and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Habs fans everywhere will feel his loss. In his spare time, Bob played hockey, snooker, and darts. He was part of the Rod and Gun Club and loved his fishing weekends away. He was a member at Lookout Point Golf Club hitting two holes-in-one and once bowled only one strike short of a perfect score. Visitors will be received at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 2:00- 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM. Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 1:00 PM in the Lamb Chapel of the funeral home. Rite of Committal Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
