Rena Strickland

STRICKLAND, RENA HELENE - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved daughter and sister, Rena at the age of 40, of Thorold, Ontario on February 10, 2024. Rena is survived by her adoring mother, Margaret MacLellan and stepfather John Kenny, of St. Catharines; her loving brother James Strickland (Leah), of Fort McMurray and her best friend Raymond Joyce, of Thorold. Rena enjoyed a special bond with her Aunt Sharon (Annie) MacLellan-Clack and will be forever loved and missed. Rena is predeceased by her father James Strickland; both sets of grandparents and many aunts and uncles. Rena was born on November 20, 1983 to Margaret MacLellan and James Strickland. Rena loved spending time with her family and was a lover of children and animals. Everyone who knew Rena saw her loving nature, full of light and joy: traits that were obvious to all after even just a single meeting with her. A private service for Rena has been held.
