Raimund Nelles

Nelles, Raimund "Ray" ~ surrounded by his loving family, passed away peacefully and with dignity at his residence in Thorold, on Monday, January 24, 2011 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Donna "Joy" and his first wife, the late Lottie Nelles (2005). Loving father of Peter (Marianne), Gilbert (Jessie), Corina (David), Ronald (Lisa), Kim (Andrew), Randy (Cheryl), Donna and Lisa (Joe). Opa will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Anne-Marie (Sean), Michael, Rachel, Steven, Samantha, Kasidy, Stephanie, Nadine, Andrea, Dylan, Brandon, Melanie and Jason and by his great granddaughter Sienna. Dear brother of Renauta (the late Eric), Louisa (Severino) and Annie. Predeceased by brothers Helmut and Gilbert. Dear cousin of Bernard (Brigetta). Ray will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Special friend of Lisa Docherty and her family. Ray worked for General Motors for 30 years and was an upholsterer for 60 years. Ray enjoyed trying his luck at the casino. A special thank you to Ray's nurses Elizabeth, Carolyn and Jill and to Dr. Mark Roberts for all their care and compassion.
