Phyllis Mary Thomas

THOMAS, PHYLLIS – It is with great sadness that the family of Phyllis Thomas announces her passing on Wednesday, February 8th, 2023 in St. Catharines, Ontario at the age of 87. Phyllis will be lovingly remembered as the amazing mom of Bobbi (Anson) Thomas-Bailey, Mike (Sonia), Debra, Pamela (Theo) Dagenais and Patrick (Angela). Phyllis will be fondly remembered by her 14 grandchildren Denise, Laura, Andrew, Gerry, Kayla, Kyle, Breanna, Krystin, Korey, Matthieu, Katrina, Ethan, Julianna and Cassandra and by her 11 great grandchildren Devin, Hayden, Jozef, Ewelina, Kinsley, Avery, Mason, Bryson, Adeline, Summer, and Hannah. She is also survived by her sister Marilyn (Ross) Davis. Predeceased by her husband Robert of 59 years (2015) and great-grandchild Bennett (2020). Phyllis was a skilled seamstress and quilter. She was also an avid knitter who made sure that all of family had warm mittens, scarves, slippers and blankets. Phyllis worked many years in the fashion and jewelry retail sectors. Most of her retirement was spent doing what she loved most – caring for her uncle Sarge (2011), aunt Val (2021) and husband Robert (2015). She also loved her steadfast fur companion – Baxter. Friends will be received at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 p.m.
