OLIVA, Margaret "Peggy" (nee Petrie)
Peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, August 3, 2017, at the NHS-St. Catharines Site, at the age of 78. Beloved wife and best friend of Gus for over 58 years. Loving mother of Wendy (Maurice) Gionet, Laurie (Scott) Roland and Kelly Oliva (Greg). Cherished Grandma of Nicole, Dana (Blake), Casey, Corey and Brayden. Dear sister-in-law of Roxie, Anna and Zita. Peggy was predeceased by her brothers, Jack, Jim and Doug, by her sister, Dorothy and sister-in-law Ev. Peggy will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews and special friends Ray and Joyce Newbold. Peggy's visitation will be held at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, on Monday, August 7, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Monday afternoon at 3 p.m..  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 21 Queen Street South, Thorold, on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow Mass, at Lakeview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be given to the Rankin Cancer Run.
