REMIGIO, PATRICK

January 6, 1929 - March 30, 2024

On Saturday, March 30, 2024, Patrick passed away at home with his wife of 45 years, soul mate Elaine (née Haley) at his side. Patrick was able to remain at home thanks to the outstanding care of his doctor, Dr. Lane, and the Palliative Care Nursing Team. He was the beloved stepfather of Leslee. Patrick was also the cherished Papa to Haley. He will be fondly remembered by his brother-in-law John (Anne-Marie), David, Shawn, Debbie, Frankie, and numerous other nieces and nephews. Patrick is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Angela, and all of his siblings: George (Mabel), Victor (Evelyn), Helen (Bill), Paul (surviving spouse Irene), Leo (Doris) and MaryLou (Chick). Pat was a 37-year employee of Fraser Paper Mill. During his lifetime, Pat made a large impact on the Thorold sports scene. He was well known for his promotion of athletics in Thorold and received several awards of recognition for his dedication to Thorold youth. As a player, Pat excelled at hockey, baseball, and softball. As a coach and manager, he was highly respected by his players and colleagues.
