DeBlasis, Onesta - Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Meadows of Dorchester, Niagara Falls, on Thursday, December 10, 2015. Onesta (Dosa) of Thorold in her 88th year. Wife of the late Alfredo DeBlasis. Dear mother of Lina (Larry White), Frank (the late Bruna, 2009) and Emilio DeBlasis. Loving Nonna to Katrina, Nicholas and Ashley. Predeceased by her sister Domenica and Husband Giuseppe Persia, Paolina and husband Giovanni Persia and her brothers Luca Dosa and Vivenizo Dosa. Survived by her sisters-in-law Lucia Dosa and Pasqualina Dosa. Zia Onesta is also survived by several nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2015 with Vigil Prayers celebrated at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 21 Queen Street, on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Rite of Committal will be celebrated at Lakeview Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the McMaster Children's Hospital Foundation or by bringing a toy to contribute to the "Gifts from above" toy drive.
