DEWITT, NORMAN ERNEST -In Niagara-on-the-Lake with his loving family by his side, Norm was reunited with three of his children and his parents on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 in his 72nd year.  Eternal companion to Barb (Née Jones) for 52 years. Supportive Dad to Sharla (Tyrel) Stone of North Dakota, Sheryl of North Dakota, Tristen (Liliana) of Texas and predeceased by Jason, Jarren and Thora-Jane “T-Jay”. Caring Grandpa to Kailee, Gabrielle, Alexus, Austin, Caiden, Sage, Jenica, Rylan, Kara, Malorie, Abigail, Brennen and Colton. Papa to Mason, Cayden, Thora-Jane and Kayson. Brother to Robert (Melissa), Rhonda (Tom) Jones, and Graham (Kris) and the late Eleanor (Warren) Cochrane. Brother-in-law to Rob (Kathy) Jones, Mike (Laura) Jones, and Sheryl (John) Pagnotta. Norm could talk to anyone and would also make them laugh. If you needed something, Norm was the one to call and would help in any way he could. Not surprising then, that after working in many fields, including at Thompson Products, as an elementary and middle school teacher, residential development, and running his own real estate company, he chose for his last career to be a greeter at Walmart. Norm graduated from Brock University with a B.S. in Geology, he was a sports fanatic; loved action movies, and had a soft spot in his heart for his pug Charlie. Visitors will be received at Bocchinfuso Funeral Home, Friday, February 23, 2024 from 6:00 -8:00 PM. A Funeral will be held on Saturday in the funeral home’s Lamb chapel at 11:00 AM.
