Nicola Vitale

VITALE, Nicola ~ peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the Niagara Health System - St. Catharines Site on Thursday, October 17, 2013 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of the late Gina Vitale (Jan. 21, 2010). Loving father of Lucy (Mario) Popoli, Dominic (Andrea) Vitale and Sandra (Jim) Jacobs. Nonno will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Robert and Michael Popoli, Hadasa Vitale and Megan and Emma Jacobs. Predeceased by brothers Giuseppe, Saverio and Domenico. Dear brother of Luigi, Francesco, Maria, Vittoria, Antonio and Teresina and brother-in-law of Leonardo (Tina) Martino, Maria (the late Salvatore) De Fazio. Nicola will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Nicola worked for the Ontario Paper Co. for over 35 years, retiring in 1999. He was the founder of the Club Calabrese Association in Niagara. Nicola's passion was giving his tender loving care to his bountiful garden for all his family to enjoy.
