Nicola Gaspari

GASPARI, Nicola ~ surrounded by his loving family at the Henley House, St. Catharines, on Friday, November 7, 2014 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of 52 years to Lucia (Ciccotosto) Gaspari. Loving father of Adriano (Paola) and John (Michelle). Nonno will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Alessandra, Arianna, Sierra and Jacob. Dear brother of Antonio (Maria), Concetta (the late Nicola), the late Domenico, Pierino (Elentina), Nellina (the late Gennaro), Giustino (Silvana), Giuseppe (Antonietta) and Angelo (Maria) and brother-in-law of Lina (the late Gaetano), the late Rosa (the late Michele), the late Lea (the late Armando), Pierina (the late Nicola) and Nicola (Maria). Nicola will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was a master tailor for 55 years. In 1966 Nicola started his business at 39 Front St., Thorold called Gaspari's Tailor Shop. He then moved his successful business to 11 Front St. in 1980, then renaming the business Gaspari Fashions until he retired in 2003. A special thank you to Dr. John Adams and the staff at the Henley House for their care and compassion, to all staff at CCAC, especially Wanda, to a special guardian angel Teresa for all her thoughts, prayers and comfort given to the family during this time and to Fr. Kessete for coming to the home to have Nicola receive communion and the companionship shown to him.
