Neil A. Ross

Ross, Neil A. ~ It is with sadness that Neil's family announce his passing, at the St. Catharines General Hospital, on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of 50 years to Carole (Wynneck) Ross. Loving father of Lorrie Ross (Vic Bolibruck) and Wayne (Nancy) Ross. Loving and adoring grandpa of Kendra and Jacob. Predeceased by parents Lloyd and Leila Ross, sister Muriel and her husband Claude Stephenson and brother Arthur survived by his wife Iona. Dear brother-in-law of Bill (Barbara) Wynneck. Neil is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He coached hockey for many years in Thorold from house leagues to travel teams, enjoying his time spent with the players. Neil worked for many years as a millwright, working for Donahue Paper Mill, retiring in 2001. The family would like to thank Dr. B. Findlay and nursing staff on the Oncology Unit of the St. Catharines General Hospital and also to the CCAC for all their care and support. Also thank you to all his good friends and family who loved and supported him over the past two years.
