CHASSIE, MURIEL JOAN (née Evans)- 1938- 2024 - Joan passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at the age of 86. She was the loving mother of Linda (Tony), Darla and Darren (Kim), and she will be sadly missed by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joan is survived by her brother Ron (Lois) and Bill (Randi) and all of her "favourite" nieces and nephews. She will be fondly remembered by her former husband Ray. Joan is predeceased by her parents, Morris and Muriel Evans, her brother Maldwyn and sister-in-law Dorothy. Her beloved cat Tiger will be loved and cared for by her granddaughter Katie. We have honoured Mom's wishes, and cremation has taken place. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
