WALKER, Michael Daniel - We the family of Michael Walker, announce with sadness, his passing on November 3, 2017. His love and companionship will be sadly missed by his wife Norma (Gasbarini) after 64 years of marriage. Mike provided love, encouragement and support to his three children, Mark (Teresa), Rosanne and Mary-Michael. Mike was the proud and caring Gigi to his six grandchildren, Matthew (Deanna) Walker, Patrick (Allison) Walker, Emma deMontbrun, Taylor deMontbrun, Zachary Woodruff, Cole Woodruff, and great grandfather to Kiyonna deMontbrun and Valerie Walker. Predeceased by his parents Alex and Annie, his in-laws Alviso and Matilde Gasbarini, his sister and brother in-law Florence and Bill Hering and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Eva and Donato DiSante. He will be remembered for his good sense of humour, wonderful disposition, and zest for travel, hunting and golf (three holes in one). Mike retired in 1987, after 44 years of service from Kimberly Clark and was a member of Local I.B.C. 124 and a member of Club Roma. Friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2017. Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will be held in the funeral home chapel, on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. followed by cremation.
