Michael Laveck

Laveck, Michael ~ surrounded by his loving family at the Welland General Hospital on Friday, May 29, 2009, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Hilda Laveck (March 26, 2002). Loving father of Michael (Donna Lee) Laveck, Daniel J (Mary) Laveck, Christine (Brian) Bonnar, Marlene (Louie) Paolella, Kathy Graveline and Dean J (Diane) Laveck. Papa will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Dear twin brother of Harold "Joseph" Laveck. Predeceased by 4 brothers and 8 sisters. Michael worked for General Motors for 30 years as a stationary engineer retiring in 1983. Michael was a WWII Veteran. His favourite past time was playing cards, especially euchre. A special thank you to the PSW's of the Red Cross Home Care, the Saint Elizabeth Health Care and the Veteran's Association for their care and compassion shown to Michael.
