SMYTHE, MARY (Née D’ADDARIO) - It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of Mary Smythe announces her peaceful passing on January 26, 2026 at Niagara Health Marotta Family Hospital at the age of 85.

Cherished Mother of Gary (Sue) and Steven (Lori-Ann). Special Nana to Brad (Bobbie), Mitchell (Kaz), Shane (Lauren) and loving Great-Nana to Chase and Rory.

Mary is predeceased by her husband, Raymond (1998) and Sister Josephine and is survived by her brother Rocky (Rosalie), Sister-in-law Carol (late Bill) and will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Bocchinfuso Funeral Home, and per Mary’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre would be appreciated.
