MIKSZA, Mary Teresa (nee Huot) March 25, 1928 – October 5, 2023

Peacefully on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Niagara Health – St. Catharines site at the age of 95. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 43 years, Ted (1994). Loving mother of 7 children. Dear grandmother of 12 grandchildren and “GG” of 3 great-grandsons. Teresa was a long-time member of Our Lady of The Holy Rosary Church and the Catholic Women’s League. She loved spending time playing bingo and cards with her many friends at the Thorold Seniors Centre. She also enjoyed reading and working on her many puzzles. She was an avid Toronto sports fan and spent countless hours watching the Blue Jays and the Maple Leafs. Friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. with Vigil Prayers recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY CHURCH, 21 Queen Street South, Thorold, on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with cremation to follow. Inurnment at Lakeview Cemetery Mausoleum to be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
