Mary Lavigne

Lavigne, Mary (nee Codrean) ~ surrounded by her loving family and friends, at the St. Catharines General Hospital, on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Charles Lavigne (1958). Loving mother of Violette (Harvie) Hagerty and Gloria (the late Paul) Selman. Grandma Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Trevor Greenall (Fiancée Yvette), Debbie Costa, Danielle (Benoit) Dussault and Darryl (Lisa) Selman and by her 7 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Ted Codrean. Predeceased by brothers George, Peter, Nick, Stanley and Bill and by sisters Flora, Eva, Lena and Annie. Mary will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Mary's days at the Linhaven Day Program brought her tremendous joy and fun. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed using her natural grown vegetables not only for meals but for natural healing purposes. A special thank you to Dr. Raymond Harb for his extraordinary love and care and to the staff at the St. Catharines General 3Hospital.
