IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary
Boal
August 18, 1958 – February 15, 2026
BOAL, MARY (Née Bot) – Peacefully passed away in Welland at Woodlands of Sunset, on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the age of 67. Proud mother to Patrick (Rachel) and Sarah (Josh). She will be remembered by them as the best and supportive mom any child could ask for and whose endless support and encouragement shaped their lives and successes. It brought her great joy to finally be a Nonna to her wildly energetic grandchild, Mac. She was the loving little sister to Mario (Jenn) Bot and the late Romano (surviving spouse Chrissie) Bot. Aunt to Heather (Rob) LaRue and their daughter Bridget, and Christopher “Bucky” Bot. She was the fun Aunt and great-aunt to many great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Giuseppe and Adele Bot. Mary was the epitome what it meant to be a devoted mother who always put her children first and her Italian, vibrant spirit shone through in everything she did. Mary had a zest for life and found joy line dancing to her favourite country songs in her signature red cowboy boots and pink cowboy hat. A private family service will be held, and Mary will be laid to rest in Sault Ste. Marie with her parents. Mary’s life was filled with a love for her dogs, donations in Mary’s name to the Humane Society of Greater Niagara may be left along with online condolences at www.Bocchinfusofh.com
Patrick and Sarah want to extend their deepest gratitude to all that touched her life. Mary would have been so thankful for the reciprocal love, company and support she received. They would like to specifically recognize the staff of Woodlands of Sunset and Niagara Long-Term Care Residence, for the years of compassion, patience, and genuine kindness they showed Mary, caring for her as though she were part of their own family.
