RIDOLFO, MARLAINE
October 18, 1947 – March 17, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marlaine Ridolfo on March 17, 2025, in Thorold, Ontario. Born on October 18, 1947, in Hamilton, Ontario, Marlaine was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Marlaine is survived by her children, Angela (Kevin) Sweitzer, Michael (Jayann), Christopher, and Mark (Anita), the father of her children Alfredo Ridolfo, and her cherished grandchildren, Keegan (Tia), Kelsey, Kyle (Genevieve), Mason, and Chloe. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren James, Sebastian, Adeline, and Charlotte, who loved her dearly. Receiving Apple photo memories of them was something we all looked forward to.
She is lovingly remembered by her siblings Craig, Daryl (Leanne) and Douglas, but is predeceased by her parents, Helen and Marshall, and her sister-in-law, Linda. Marlaine's dear friend Eleanor Condotta and her family brought great companionship to her life. She was also a devoted dog mom to Cody and Pepi.
Marlaine was a dedicated family woman who treasured time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Affectionately known as Gigi to the great grandchildren and Mar to the rest of us she was always present at family gatherings, making every event more special with her warmth and love. A GMA to Angela's stepchildren who included her in many of their life events. Marlaine's kindness and generosity knew no bounds. She would do anything for anyone, always offering a helping hand and a listening ear.
