Marion Theresa Timmins

Timmins, Marion Theresa (née Leon) (Retired after over 20 years as a Secondary School Teacher, Niagara Catholic District School Board.  Has served over 30 years as Financial Controller, Big Red Markets).  It is with deep sadness and great love that we announce the passing of Marion Theresa Timmins on Wednesday, January 24th as the result of a tragic accident. Marion will be forever missed by her loving husband of 55 years, William, her children, William Jr. deceased, Joseph (Vivienne), Daniel (Sandra), Brendan (Lori), Kevin (Jennifer), and Ryan (Yun). Beloved Situ to Stephanie (Erik Zufelt), Meghan, Katie, Taylor, Shannon, Conor, Brenna, Kaleigh, Liam, Shea, Aidan, Owen, Carter, Sophie, Luke, Mark, Madeleine, and Leo. Predeceased by her parents, Roger and Mary Leon, and step mother Vera Leon. Loving sister to James deceased (Rebecca), Fred deceased (Betty), Ablan (Joan), Norman deceased (Nancy deceased), Lena (Zenon Kiss), Gary (Debbie), Gregory (Charmaine), Geoffrey (Keeley), Gisele, Grantly, Graeme (Giulia), Gayle (Antonio Martinez), and sister-in-law, Adeline deceased (Stewart McGregor deceased). Marion was an active member of Thorold's Holy Rosary Parish, and The St. Vincent de Paul Society. Marion was unwavering in her faith and lived her life devoted to her family. Friends will be received at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:30 p.m. & 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church 21 Queen St S, Thorold. Rite of Committal will be held at Lakeview Cemetery.
