Wright, Marie (nee Hardy) ~ March 18, 1926 - April 1, 2009 Surrounded by her loving family at the Welland General Hospital on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the age of 83. Predeceased by her husband and one true love Donald Arthur Wright (1970). Loving mother of Donna "Rea" (Ian) Broadley and Carol (Kevin) Romyn. Gramma will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Nick (Melissa) Broadley, Kristen (Joel) Szigatti, Marlon (Sarah) Romyn and Carson Romyn. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Rose Hardy (Hardy's Hardware, Merritton). Dear sister of Florence "Bobbie" (Julian) Jones of Florida and sister-in-law of Pat (Russ) Fox and Jim (Elva) Wright. Very special aunt of Pam (the late Tom) Vaughan of Florida. Dear friend of Flora McNaughton and dear friend of the late Fred Schmidlin. Marie happily resided at Chartwell Select First Avenue Home for the past 5 months. A special thank you to the 4th Floor West at Welland General Hospital for all their special care and compassion.
