SPADAFORA, Maria - At Etobicoke General Hospital on Saturday, October 3, 2015. Maria (Palermo) of Thorold in her 90th year. Wife of the late Giovanni Spadafora. Dear mother of Eleanor (Rocco Savoia) and the late Frank Spadafora. Mother-in-law to Carolyn Spadafora. Loving nonna of Vince, Tony, Gina, Maria, Nicole, Jon, Christina and bis nonna to 18 great grandchildren. Sister of Tina (Franco Gagliardi) of Italy, Etalo Palermo (Ida), and the late Ida Defilice (the late Anthony), and the late Peppino Palermo. Aunt Maria will also be remembered by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Monday with vigil prayers held at 3:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 21 Queen Street, Thorold, on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Rite of Committal at Pleasantview Cemetery.
