Maria Perrotta

Perrotta, Maria (Passarelli) ~ December 26, 1923 - June 6, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Maria (Passarelli) Perrotta, a dear wife, an awesome and loving mother, a proud and devoted grandmother and great grandmother. Beloved wife of the late Santo for 62 years before his passing (Jan. 15, 2009). Cherished and dearly loved by her children Josephine (devoted son-in-law Rick) Leszczynski, Meleiga "Micki" (devoted son-in-law Mike) Abrosimoff. Adored by her grandchildren Krista (Chris) Kehoe, Trisha (Graeme) Henderson, Meaghan Abrosimoff and her boyfriend Michael. Proud great grandmother to Owen and Maya Kehoe. Maria is predeceased by her parents Pasquale and Assunta (D'Amico) Passarelli, brother Luigi Passarelli and sisters Connie (Ralph) Saldarelli, and Leticia (late Nick) DeSimone. Our mother was a compassionate, loving and fun hearted human being who always put her family first. Our mother demonstrated great strength through her illness with never a complaint but only gratefulness to those who assisted her. We are so proud of you mom and we miss you already. We will miss your sense of humour and smile. When our parents lived in Chatham they were greatly blessed by wonderful neighbours. A special thank you to them. Also, a special thank you to CCAC for all the help they provided for our mother while she was ill. A most heartfelt thank you to Hospice Windsor who treated our mother in her last days with dignity, respect and kindness. They made her journey to heaven painless and peaceful. We could never thank you enough.
