Maria Mancini

Mancini, Maria (Passero) ~ suddenly, at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Monday, October 12, 2009 at the age of 70. Beloved wife of 50 years to the late Giuseppe Ersilio Mancini (October 8, 2008). Loving mother of Carmela (Philip), the late R. John (1996), Tony (Michelle), Lisa and David (Sara). Nonnina will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Sabrina, Daniel, Andrew and his mother Sandra, Jonathan, Matthew, the late Nicholas (2006) and David Jr. Dear sister of Peter (Tina) Passero and sister-in-law of Angelo (the late Rosetta) Mancini, Antonietta (Giuseppe) Di Felice, Carmine (Stefania) Mancini, Maria (the late Enzo) Picchiante, Nicola (Grace) Mancini, Livia (Tony) Carile, Vince (Ida) Mancini and Elena (Libby) Panunto. Predeceased by her parents Giuseppe and Angelina Passero and by her father and mother-in-law Rosario and Carmela Mancini. Maria will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Maria was an active parishioner of St. Patrick's Church, Merritton and also attended Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Thorold. She was a member of Club Castropignano Ladies Auxiliary, the Ladies Bocce Group and the Thorold Senior's. Maria devoted her life to her family, especially taking delight in her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for her family and her passion was tending to her garden and growing beautiful flowers.
