Maria Costanza D’Amelio

D'Amelio, Maria Costanza ~ suddenly, at her residence in Thorold, on Sunday, January 2, 2011, at the age of 85. Maria was born in Montorio Nei Frentani, Campobasso, Italy and arrived in Canada in 1956. Beloved wife of the late John D'Amelio (June 6, 2003). Loving mother of Jean D'Amelio (Stu Swyer) and Barbara (Richard) Matthie. Grandma will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jennifer, Ian and Craig. Predeceased by parents Benedetta and Antonio Chiavaro and brothers Basso and his wife Antonietta and Donato survived by his wife Filomena Chiavaro. Loving sister-in-law of Michael (the late Vera) D'Amelio, Maria (the late Bruce) Freeman, Leno (the late Phil) Mori and the late Frank D'Amelio. Maria will be missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
