Maria Annina D'Ambrosio

D'AMBROSIO, Maria Annina - Peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Saturday, February 20, 2021 after a long battle with heart disease and dementia. Maria was born on November 3, 1928 in Limosano, Campobasso, Italy. She was the daughter of Francesco and Vincenza Colavecchia and emigrated to Canada in 1958 with her spouse Angelo and her daughter. They settled and remained in Thorold for their entire lives. Maria was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Angelo, daughter Irene and brother Angelo. She leaves behind her daughter Rose (Bill Roscoe), grandchildren Lisa Roscoe, Timothy Roscoe (Agnes) and her treasured great grandchildren Ella and Cole. Liturgy outside of Mass will be recited privately at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, with a public Funeral Mass celebrated at a later date.
