Maria Carfagnini

CARFAGNINI, MARIA (Née Raimondo) - Went peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. She passed peacefully surrounded by her children at Westhills Care Centre at the age of 100. She will be reunited with her husband of 57 years, Quintino, who she has dearly missed for the past 21 years. Maria was the last of her siblings, predeceased by Antonio Raimondo, Laurina DiCorrado and Diodato Raimondo.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Luisa (née Carfagnini) and Costanzo Montanaro, David Carfagnini, Daniel and Kelly Carfagnini and Paul Carfagnini. Nonna will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Matthew, Eric, Antonette (Julian), Sarah (Steven), Quinten, Joshua, Claire, Lauren and her great grandson Luke.

Mom and Dad will be patiently waiting for the day when they can be once again reunited with their loving family.

Maria's family will receive their friends at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street, Thorold, on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 12:00 - 3:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 PM. Entombment will be at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. It is the family's and was Maria's expressed wish that in lieu of flowers all expressions of sympathy be made as a donation to the Karubabi Harvest School in Burundi by following the link: https://www.notforgotten-burundi.ca
