WALTERS, Margaret Helen (Marg was an avid sports enthusiast and had been active with The Roses and Midnight Ice Synchronized Skating Teams and as an administrator and fan of the Niagara Metros Senior Baseball Club for many years) - Died peacefully at her residence on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Marg (Popolillo) of Thorold in her 95th year. Wife of the late Mathew "Hap" Walters (member of the St. Catharines Sports Hall of Fame). Dear mother of Mark Walters (Deborah). Loving gramoo of Kelly Bolibruck (Gary), Heather Bailey and great grandmother to Oliver, Alicia Nicholas, Reese and Tessa. Predeceased by her brother Bill Popolillo and her sister Marie Hallworth. Sister-in-law to Marilyn Popolillo and the late Tom Hallworth. Aunt Marg will also be missed by several nieces, nephews and Hap's relatives. Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold. A celebration of Marg's life will be held at a later date.
